RDA FNQ&TS welcomes the news that a total of $1.8M has been granted to Gulf Savannah Development, Cape York Sustainable Futures and Tropical Tourism North Queensland to support and grow the tourism small business sector across our region.
Through the Northern Australia Tourism Initiative (NATI) of the Australian Small Business Advisory service, the capacity of established, not-for-profit small business advisory service providers has been boosted to deliver low cost small business advisory and information services to tourism small businesses and tourism small business intenders in northern Australia.
The NATI program will deliver services across six tourism streams:
- Funding avenues and financial analysis
- Building your business
- Making the most of your talent and team
- Management capabilities
- Digital engagement implementation
- Tourism ready.
The NATI is a key initiative delivered under the Northern Australia White Paper to strengthen and grow the tourism small business sector, improving our international competitiveness.
